Marvel Confirms Ant-Man 3 Is In The Works, Paul Rudd Returns As Scott Lang (Movies News)

Opposed to the recent rumors of Ant-Man and the Wasp being the final Ant-Man movies of the MCU, just recently, Marvel has confirmed in an interview that Ant-Man 3 is coming, and is currently in development. According to Marvel, the director of the first two Ant-Man movies, will return to direct the third one. At the moment, there are no more details about the movie that were revealed.

Also, it seems that Paul Rudd will once again return to reprise his role as Scott Lang - the true identity of the titular Ant-Man. Back in Avengers: Endgame, Scott Lang plays a key role in reversing the Snap of Thanos, by revealing the existence of the Quantum Realm - which led to the development of the time machine for Avengers' Time Heist
Along with Ant-Man, there are a few Avengers' characters that receiving a new movie after Avengers: Endgame, including Thor, Doctor Strange, and Spider-Man. Chronologically speaking, Ant-Man will be set in Phase 5 of the MCU and happening after the events of 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' and 'Thor: Love and Thunder'. The new Ant-Man movie is expected to start filming at the end of 2020, or in early 2021.
Back in the San Diego Comic-Con event, Marvel and Disney have revealed their plans for Phase 4 of the MCU, with the lineup of many movies and TV-series, including : Black Widow (May 1st, 2020), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Fall 2020), The Eternals (November 6th, 2020), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (February 12th, 2021), WandaVision (Spring 2021), Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (May 7th, 2021), Loki (Spring 2021), What If...? (Summer 2021), Hawkeye (Fall 2021), and Thor: Love and Thunder (November 5th, 2021). The TV-series of the MCU Phase 4 will be released via Disney's new movie streaming service Disney+ - which is coming this November in the US

Later on, at the D23 event, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has revealed three more series for Disney+: She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight. It's also during this event that Disney and Sony reached a new deal to let Tom Holland's Spider-Man to stay at the MCU for at least two more movies.
The first movie in the MCU's Phase 4 is Black Widow, which will be released on theaters worldwide on May 1st, 2020.
