One of Apex Legends' bunkers now has a countdown timer
When season 5 launched, one of the first new things to check out was the strange bunker carved into the cliff face near the Broken Coast South area of Kings Canyon. While the loot in that landing spot is mostly lacklustre—bar a shiny Legendary Knockdown Shield— dataminer Shrugtal recently leaked information surrounding some exciting drops, as well as dates for when the mysterious Apex Legends bunkers would begin opening across the map.
Another Apex Legends dataminer Biast12, has since checked in on the bunker that— according to the previous leak—was due to begin opening on June 16, noticing that it now displays a 'Hatch Status Update' with a countdown.
If you head to the bunker between Salvage and Water Treatment you can watch the countdown tick down, yourself. There's not much else to see right now, but judging by the timer I saw when I hopped into a match, it looks as though the door is scheduled to open at 11am BST on June 24 on the EU servers. This almost aligns with Shrugtal's earlier leak (below), which outlined that the first bunker would be fully open by June 23.
I also visited the three remaining bunkers, all of which now display a 'Locked' message when you stand close to their entrance.
Big one today.

First date is start to open, second date is ready to enter. They will eventually all be open.

Judging by the map screenshots shared in the leak and the new countdown timer at one of the bunker entrances, here's what we can expect to find in each location:
Terminal F-85 Station, opening June 16-24: Legendary Knockdown Shield
Terminal Station W-73, opening June 23-30: Golden Prowler
Terminal Station O-240, opening June 30-July 7: Golden Sentinel
Terminal Station L-19, opening July 7-14: Golden Havoc
In chronological order these Terminal labels seem random, but if you remove the numbers and reorder the letters, together they spell 'WOLF', which refers to Apex's newest legend added to the game in season 5, Loba .
Each bunker will likely be filled with regular loot, and the golden items will have set spawns, according to Shrugtal. If they're correct, all four bunkers should be open for players to raid by July 14. Shrugtal's tweet also mentions a quest-related bunker, but that isn't pictured.
Seeing as the countdown has now started for the first bunker, Shrugtal's initial leaks look even more persuasive. We'll likely receive official confirmation tomorrow during the EA Play Live 2020 event, which starts at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET
